I loved Mrs. Simpson's jewelry in "The King's Speech." Happy to see it featured here.
While we were on a tour of the Set in Style exhibit at the Cooper Hewitt Museum today, one of the curators informed us that having Mrs. Simpson wear that jewelry in "The King's Speech" was an "unaccuracy" since Van Cleef & Arpels didn't start producing the "zip" necklace until she was a Duchess. In fact, when they made that necklace, they had her in mind.Loved The King's Speech, by the way.
Vyna I love that second last bracelet.
Julie: That bracelet is quite stunning, isn't it? I love the fact that you can wear it both casually, as well as formally.
