A Review of the Vera Wang Fall 2013 Collection

There was a time when period clothing was all the rage and the construction, shape, and volume of a garment was all that matters. For her Fall 2013 Collection, Vera Wang brought that period to the fore, and made it work to her advantage by adding romance and some much needed attitude to a collection that honored the past, and at the same time is strikingly forward looking.

Despite her known interest for designing clothes with a subdued but fresh outlook, this collection emphasised her Asian fusion theme, and the fact that she has a real command of color and a flair for the unique and sympathetic side of fashion.
